I adjusted my side seam by 1" as Suzy suggested, and kept the angle like my plumb line, which brought the seam to the middle of my leg. I still think it needs work here though. Also, I move my entire front darts over toward the side seam about 1 1/2" to help get rid of those wrinkles below the dart. I added about 1" to the center back base and blended toward the side seam. It made the flat pattern look very odd but I did it any way. I also adjusted to about 3/4 total waist shaping at center back (rather than 1/2") to remove some of the back wrinkles which was very effective. I then transferred the adjustments to a new pattern to make up my second mock up. I am happy with my left side, but my right lets me down. Maybe I need two separate sides to my sloper?

Just wanted to thank you for sharing! I am learning a lot just watching the pictures and comparing your nr 1 and 2 muslins. Really tricky to fix all those 3-dimensional things happening at the same time, especially if you cannot treat left and right the same Great work anyhow!!

Thank you so much annaskapa, for taking the time to comment on my Muslin. Two reasons why I put up my photos have now been achieved. The first that Suzy can advise me with an experienced eye to show me what to look for and how to fix it, and the second to help others like yourself who want to take the time to learn by my mistakes (i do what you do too). I have finally broken through the glass ceiling of pattern drafting that has been bothering me for years! My a line skirt (photos to be put up after this post) went together far easier than any bought paper pattern that I have sewn up before. It is great to have that eureka moment!
