What was your inspiration?
Her lovely face asking for a new skirt...and I didn't want to go buy her one! :)
What are you most proud of?
I used my new embellishing skills that I learned at the Haus of Stitches Sewing Convention and made a plain skirt really pretty!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
check your tensions when you're embellishing on soft fabric, it has a tendency to gather and pull, especially if you're not using stabilizer...which I wasn't
