What was your inspiration?
Coffee at my favourite little coffee shop. They sprinkled hot chocolate on the top of my coffee in the shape of a coffee bean.
What are you most proud of?
I am proud of the steam spirals - my free-motion quilting skills are improving.
I also love that this project uses 1" strips of fabric from my scrap box making it cheap and beautiful!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have fun with the mug - go bold or retro, funky or fussy-cut a design.
Don't worry about 1/4" seams either on the log-cabin block - just add more or less and then trim the block to size (details are in the pattern).
