Materials

I used several different types of left over yarn. Some wool and some acrylic. Luckily it worked for the fair isle without too many issues

What was your inspiration?

I have only done one other fair isle project and wanted to play more with color work. I thought this particular pattern would be enjoyed by a teenager

What are you most proud of?

Being able to successfully complete my first fair isle project. The other one is a wip. I also decided to do a crocheted trim instead of a knitted trim to make a different kind of edge and left the tassels off.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I am curious if it would be an easier cap to do in the round. It may be simpler to ignore to extra stitches, and work on dpns or circulars. Carrying the floats on the purl side just feels awkward.
