No luck "asking a question" in the middle of the class video. The Ask It button did not work. Does anyone know if adding a layer of wool batting to the Quilters Dream batting result in having to always indicate that the finished quilt must be dry cleaned? Must I "split" the wool batting? Why not use it as a second layer of batting "As is"?

The wool batts made today don't require dry cleaning. When I wash my quilts that have used either a full thickness or a half thickness batt, I always wash or soak here at home. I choose to use a half thickness batt on top of a cotton batt when I want the weight of the cotton and the memory/puff of the wool. I want my batting to be a little less thick. I have heard of others that have used the full wool on top of the cotton and it has worked well. Completely up to you! :)
