What materials did you use? RTW navy blue button front size 6 skirt (from a thrift store), store bought "quilt binding" bias tape, hook and eye

I bought this skirt at a thrift store in hopes that I could make it fit me. It was originally a size 6 (which I clearly am not), but because it had good length and flared out consistently I decided to make a new custom waist. I don't think I can fit all of what I did in this little comment box, so to see a full description you can go to my blog post: All of the techniques I used were from a combination of the dress lesson in this class and, oddly enough, the pants hemming lesson in the first tailoring class. I now absolutely love this skirt and I wear it all the time!

That's so ambitious and awesome! Great work!

This was exactly what I was looking for as we always find ways to make things smaller but making them larger is not an easy task! Great job!
