Instructions

Use a lighterweight fabric for the sleeves than for the rest of the dress. The sleeves are lined and the 1st sleeves I made with the satin were much too heavy.

Materials

glittery satin for body and a sheer glittery nylon for the sleeves

What was your inspiration?

Olivia asked for a witch dress. Knowing how she loves princesses I went for the wicked princess-look. Sometimes she can pull that off without even a costume!

What are you most proud of?

This whole outfit has an incredible glitter to it but it doesn't show up in the photos.

I'll only be proud of it when I see it on her but she loved this picture of it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Use a light weight fabric for the sleeves. And when using any type of satin you really should use a serger. Also that trim at the neckline has to go around a curve so don't try to use ribbon.
