What advice would you give someone starting this project? Have fun. A basic understanding of paper piecing is helpful before beginning this project. There are many books, on-line videos & classes to help you get started.

This is a paper pieced quilt. Other techniques used include: machine stitching for the sayings in the light aqua border, leaf designs in the dark aqua border & leaf designs around the word squares; machine embroidery for "Hope, Faith & Love" words, scroll design in the purple border, scrolls in the top & bottom of the primary large word squares. The words "Hope, Love & Faith" as well as the quilt pattern were downloaded from Quiltmaker Sept/Oct 2012.
