What was your inspiration?
Sir Ed Hillary, the man who first conquered Mt Everest was a New Zealander. He was also down-to-earth, warm and natural. So it only seemed appropriate to celebrate him rock-and-roll poster style with NZ homespun wool!
What are you most proud of?
This was my first 'knitted picture'.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Patience! And be aware, you will have hundreds of little threads to sew into the back at the end!
