Tell us more about what inspired you. Aside from the Sewaholic Thurlow trousers, this pattern is close to the RTW look that I prefer .

It is imperative that you know your measurements and go off that vs the fit instructions. I cut a size smaller than I "should" have. The pattern has 1" seams so that's 8 additional inches of fabric. I don't need 1" seams! I cut a size smaller and used 3/4" side seams and 5/8" inseams. I also had to shorten the front crotch length considerably.

what pattern did you use? Your pants nice, have you sewn for a long time? Did this class help you get the fit you wanted?

I need to add that - sorry! It's simplicity 2700. No class...I started sewing January 2013. Thanks!

You've fitted them really well. I've made a different pair of amazing fit trousers and although diddly they came out well. I agree with going down a size.

Thanks! Yeah, they give far too much extra room in their patterns!
