What materials did you use? I think that this fabric is a rayon/lycra from www.marcytilton.com; it has a lovely drape and recovery and, at the same time, was pretty easy to sew with a stretch needle. I used a regular sewing machine to sew the shoulder seams and to attach the binding to the neckline. I used a serger to sew the side seams, sleeve seams and the seam attaching the sleeve (the pattern doesn't actually have a sleeve; I used the sleeve from Vogue 8710). I used a coverstitch machine to hem the sleeves and the body and to keep the binding in place. I used stay tape to stabilize the shoulder seams.
