I wanted to knit a set of mittens to match the Inside-Out Hat I recently made for my father (pattern by Janice Kang).
So I used the Lacy Arrow Mittens pattern but instead of the lace pattern for the cuff, I did a garter stitch, based on the band of the Inside-Out hat.
I made the following adjustments, working with 2 strands of yarn in each color: Cast on 25 stitches, instead of the 13 i used for the hat. Complete 14 sets of the pattern (2 rows of each color)
I then changed to using one strand of each color and picked up 54 stitches from the edge of one side of the wristband.
