What was your inspiration?

Celebrities are wearing these beanies and slouchy hats! I thought that one would look so cute on a miniature noggin!

This simple little cotton hat is the perfect accessory for any little one in your life! The ribbed bottom gives some stretch to go over a noggin! Pattern is in a cotton yarn, but any worsted medium weight (4) yarn will work. Great in washable wool for the colder months! Try stripes!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

If you are new to using circular needles, just jump in and give it a try!

I would like to make this hat for myself to wear in the house. I have lost some of my hair due to chemo and have some bald spots. Winter is coming and I have some nice softy yarn to use, so thanks for the offer of a free pattern. Susan
