Materials

This necklace features a beautiful silver rose pendant that was hand crafted by the Karen Hill Tribe in Thailand. The clasp is also a rose, hand crafted in Thailand. The flowers are accompanied by several warm amethyst beads and four hand crafted printed beads from Thailand. Each bead has been wire wrapped by me using sterling silver wire.

What was your inspiration?

I love using Thai silver in my jewelry, every bead is handcrafted and there fore very unique. The patterns they use are usually nature related or abstract geometric shapes. The silver rose seems perfect for creating a modern take on a romantic, Victorian look.
