Instructions

When something breaks turn it into something else-enjoy what you do and always laugh at your mistakes as you clean them up and when you are screaming and crying because stuff is all over your floor be grateful you have a floor to have stuff all over it.

Materials

size 13 japanesse ring plug, silver art clay, ring mold, torch, evenheat kiln, silver syringe, lots of sanding, brass brush

What was your inspiration?

two classes- torch fired silver clay and kiln fired silver clay as they were both what gave me the knowledge to make this- I made the buda head with molds from the epoxy class- the silver halo in the torch fired class and theres no way I would of used my kiln without the kiln class- I was scared to.
Craftsy gave me the inspriation to make this.

What are you most proud of?

that when my ring broke as I was sanding it out of the mold I did not skip a beat but turned to see what I could do to make it more than just a band- (you know I was crying)

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

have fun in all you do and do what you love- life is too short not to and when people say you should sell your things ask them what they want to give you for them.. :) that makes them rethink their words.. :) giggle..
take the classes before you do other things- books can give great advice however there is nothing like being able to turn your pc on and review something to make sure you are doing it correctly.

thank you so much! of all the things I have made so far I think this one is one of my favorites- though I am working on a few other things which idk.. :) but you know they all go into bags into a box- maybe someday someone will want them :)
