What was your inspiration?

I needed some bedside tables, but we already have too much 'wood' in our bedroom -- I wanted something vintage but modified. I was inspired when I saw the Drab to Fab chapter with the art deco side table. She made it look so easy!

What are you most proud of?

I am proud that I didn't mess up the leaf too much!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Before doing a BIG silver leafing project...make sure you have plenty of space and have a way to clean up all the silver leaf bits which get dusted off the project and can float around the whole house!!! They have a way of clogging your dustbuster filter, too.
