What are you most proud of? The yarn was very slippery and thin and did not have the elasticity of wool, took time getting used to. Patience and perseverance paid and I love the result. I will definitely make another one!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Life lines and don't rush the project, it requires concentration.Lace knitting at this level doesn't mix with sun deck white wine, TV, demanding children, hubby and pets. Have an easy project at hand - socks, potholders, afghan squares to give yourself a rest once in a while!

No, not really, when I learned the lace pattern after the first 10 cm. Ribbing was a killer, very boring, fell asleep, made mistakes.

Very pretty, love the lace pattern and the amazing colour. Would prefer pictures with you in it tho! And I know what you mean my gazing at the wool before using it. Some wool looks so yummy unworked. I love yarn shops for just that reason.
