What materials did you use? "Silk Garden" & "Essentials" (Wilmington Prints), "fusions" & "Oriental Traditions" (Robert Kaufman), & "Complements" (South Sea Imports) for quilt top; "june dot" (Alexander Henry Fabrics) for quilt back & binding. Polyester & rayon thread (Gutermann).

What are you most proud of? My favourite parts of this little quilt are the areas quilted with the starburst patterns: I was surprised to see how the outer triangular areas quilted with echoed starbursts turned out to look like Japanese fans. I am also surprised that I am ok with all the imperfections & wobbly lines on my quilt! Thanks Angela for all your encouraging comments in your lessons! :)

What advice would you give someone starting this project? If this is a new technique for you as it was for me, I would suggest matching thread for the quilt centre blocks so that any not-so-straight lines aren't so obvious. This is a really useful course, easy to follow, with excellent instructions.
