What was your inspiration?
My granddaughter's preschool is having a silent auction and my daughter asked me if I would make a quilt. I thought the silhouettes of the children would be fun to do.
What are you most proud of?
The profiles were identified by my daughter and granddaughter from the quilt.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make sure the pictures are taken at the same time and the same distance if there are going to be more than one silhouette on the quilt. The contrast of the profile and the background needs to be distinct. Otherwise, try to define the picture in editing software.
