Instructions

I used some beautiful artwork from Jenny B. of the Allsorts blog. She may be releasing shrinky dink friendly versions of her dots artwork!

Difficulty:

Category: Other

Type of item: Functional

For: Home

Style: Cute, Retro / Vintage, Whimsical

Materials

Shrinky dinks printable

What was your inspiration?

When I saw Jenny's free dots download, I knew they had to be buttons.

What are you most proud of?

The sizes were PERFECT for the extra large fiskars squeeze hole punch!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

OMG, so fast and easy. And very very very addictive.

Ok! If I'm the second person to ask for the instructions, you should be selling them or the buttons! I LOVE them! They are perfect for a new baby blanket I am working on! If you could make them in giganto 2" in diameter, I would buy them! Shoot me a note if you are interested! Cute, cute cute! Sheila

That's do-able, but a sticky wicket. The artist specified that her artwork was for personal use only, no selling. But I'm e-mailing with her, and if she creates a shrinky-dink friendly PDF I'm definitely going to post a tutorial! :)

There's no actual instructions, but the person who created the art might create a "shrinky dink friendly" version of the art. As for the size and such, I used the extra large fiskars squeeze punch, and a standard hole punch for the buttonholes. :)
