Ann Norling pattern #69
Instructions
I haven't completed this project, had a little difficulty after base triangle was complete. Watched a video on You Tube pertinent to this pattern and with class video and You Tube video short rows, though in a simple form finally came together for me. Love the pattern, what the product is looking like and now am more than ever excited about finishing the video and doing more with short rows.Read full instructions »

Category: Knitting
Type of item: Accessory
For: Women
Style: Traditional, Casual, Classic
Materials
Mini Mochi yarn, size 2 needles
What was your inspiration?
At a yarn shop that had this scarf in many different weights of yarn; some done with multiple yarns, variegation and solid. Loved it. The finer yarn looks elegant and the Mini Mochi is nice to work with.
What are you most proud of?
Starting to "get" short row's!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Follow the directions when you come to section 2, that's where I stumbled. Row 1 of section 2 sounds simple, and it is. This is where you make the turn from working across the width of the scarf and start working up the side, where short rows come into play. This is where the next triangle is started and keeps growing. It's simple. Check out You Tube, there is a video there if it's not making sense.
