I tend to use a basic bodice pattern from a commercial pattern and just add a nice lacy crochet stitch pattern for the skirt, sleeves and bonnet. I also added a heart to the bodice and circle to bonnet using a 3ch picot, 3ch, repeat for desired length, shaped it and sewed on. A 1950's pattern for a babies jacket in shell stitch
What are you most proud of?
Even though I used an inexpensive arcrylic yarn, it shaped very well.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This could be for either a baby or a 18" - 20" doll.
