What materials did you use? Pre-quilted breast cancer fabric (body), breast cancer themed fabric (pockets), inspirational breast cancer "words" fabric (pink)

What are you most proud of? That I was able to not only make the zippered pocket (interior) but that I was able to fix a mistake I made!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make sure to cut very accurate pieces and seams. Also, be sure to have a VERY STRONG machine needle as you'll need it!

Julie - Could you tell me the finished size of the bag? It looks deep, so I am real interested in that measurement as well as the width. How deep would you make the pockets? You did a nice job on this bag. Very pretty. Thanks, Julie

The bag is 17" high, 15" wide, and the outer pockets are 10" high. The bag "inside" is 5-7" so it holds a lot. I would probably make the outer pockets 1-2" shorter so it's easier to reach in to the bottom of them. The inside, zippered pocket is 7.5 x 8.5", so it's nice, too. It could be made larger, or another one added on the other side.

I just love this bag. It is awesome. Love that you made it for breast cancer as I am a survivor.
