What materials did you use? Cotton fabric & thread, fusible web, invisible thread, shop hop block patterns.

What are you most proud of? This is the 1st quilt I've ever completely sashed and there were no instructions per se. It took a bit to figure out the best way to add the framing and sashing in between the columns but I did it!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Have fun!!

Thanks! I love this one - the sashing took some doing to match things up but it was well worth it.

Wow Jean - have just discovered this beautiful quilt - love your applique and the black and white framing really does set it off. You and your friend have done a brilliant job. A wonderfully bright and cheery quilt.

Thank you Beth! I really got an applique workout on this one. My friend is entering hers in a local county fair. I expect it to do well. We moved to FL from MD 3 years ago and I'm glad we can still get together from time to time. She's the one who got me started quilting!
