Cut one piece of denim 17" tall and 22" wide, pick a design, applique, initial, etc and applique it on the one side, as you fold in half to sew. A customer needed some shoe bags for her upcoming trip.
What are you most proud of?
Finding great ways to use up scraps and tidbits to make something useful. I think this would make really nice gifts personalized with names or initials. They can be used for anything for men, women and kids!!! The size can be adjusted too!!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This is an easy project for beginners and perfect for anymore teaching someone to sew or a kids class. It's smaller than the tradition laundry bag and can be completed in less than 1 hour!!!
