What was your inspiration?

Many, MANY thanks to Pam Howard for her Classic Tailored Shirt course. I learned so much, and it boosted my confidence a LOT. It was wonderful to have her voice in my head, while I was cutting, and while I was sewing - "Take your time", "that's looking pretty good", "it's okay if you make a mistake, we'll just fix it".
I will take ANY course that Pamela teaches on Craftsy! :-)

btw, this pattern is not a classic shirt, it's a cowgirl shirt, but all the things Pam taught are relevant here.

What are you most proud of?

Everything matches where it should, and lines up just right, and I did it without having a nervous breakdown :-)

I'm also pretty proud of my lovely daughter - how many folks have a 17 year old girl who is delighted to have and wear a Mom-made shirt?!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Go for it!
