What materials did you use? 3 yards of cotton broadcloth with metallic print

What are you most proud of? This was my first adult garment, and I didn't use a pattern. I found a simple tutorial online with some ratios and plugged my measurements into them, and used an existing ready-to-wear skirt to backup my measurements.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make the first tier (the one with the waistband) shorter than the rest of the tiers. I like to wear my waistband at my high natural waist, and positioned the first ruffled flare to hit at the widest part of my hips, which minimizes my waist and makes the skirt drape flatteringly.

Beautiful! Can you share the link for the skirt tutorial?
