What was your inspiration?
This is a sleeping bag made of 100% wool. It is heavy, but works well because the baby is due in winter. A fairly straight forward pattern and well written.
What are you most proud of?
The baby is expected to be a boy, so I didnt add any ribbon or lace, but the teddy bear buttons really complete this. Cant wait to give it to the mother-to-be this weekend at the baby shower!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The bag, especially the hood, didnt work out as large as it does in the pattern photo but thats ok because it is for a newborn. I didnt join the bottom just incase the baby is long, that way it will last longer.
