What was your inspiration?

Definitely the yarn itself was my inspiration. I found this deep moss green wool at a yard sale and just had to have it. I love combining different textures and high contrasts. My ladder yarn and ribbon yard worked perfect for this and added just the right amount of flair that I was hoping for.

What are you most proud of?

Just how quickly this came together and how great it looks.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Although Novelty yarns are expensive, a little bit goes a long way to embellish any project. We're talking just a few yards. Experiment! Try combining not only contrasting colors, but also contrasting Textures.
