What was your inspiration?
I had eight blocks and needed to use up some left over half square triangles. I used the book "Circle of Nine" for the center setting and then decided to turn it on point and build up the corners. The main pattern for that is from the book "Star Bright Quilts" I also needed to add the filler strip to make the size just right. I hope to get a 2 inch border added soon.
What are you most proud of?
I used up all but 10 of the half square triangles from another project. Plus, so far I haven't had to purchase any material, it was all from my stash.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have patience and use your seam ripper if you have to!
