Black Lip shell squares, 10 mm Jet glass round beads, 6mm silver beads, and memory wire
What was your inspiration?
I was on vacation at the ocean on the Oregon coast. I saw lots of shell fragments and black rocks on the beach and knew I has something similar in my bead stash.
What are you most proud of?
I love the alternating of square and round. I think it gives the bracelet a chunky feel without being heavy. This is a piece that gets noticed when worn!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Memory wire is fun to work with, but never, ever, ever cut it with your regular flush cutters. Invest is memory wire shears or floral shears (that's what I use.)
