After spending a lengthy period of time in trying to present an entire, lengthy and convoluted story about my wanting to make my own version of this lovely top, shielded from view by this screen (article of clothing), explaining my interest & including all pertinent details, I never dreamt that tapping either 'Done' or 'Post' first, was of such critical importance! Clearly, I've spent little my with that tap, my detailed explanation found in a would-be posting, well, of course, you have guessed that I DID press that wrong one first & it vanished- all of it! I'm very taken with this beautifully draped top that's striped, dark & light, perhaps black/navy & cream/white & would like to make one similar to it, except for all details (colors, sizing, & most important, the new owner person wearing it!), I am hoping to have the assistance of the owner who has posted this beauty to behold as the owner posting the top as their 'fixed' item. Within pattern use rules, if the pattern is free to be shared & the owning, posting person, whose name I don't know because I had no clue that it was going to be shielded from my view for such a long time, without opportunity to check, for this period of writing, then re-writing, only to eventually re-read. is willing to do so, while our teacher is in agreement on how it is to be done, I surely would appreciate & enjoy having the pattern & will surely make it. If that isn't feasible, then if details on its sizing, shaping, specific dimensions along with a helpful picture, taken while flat, of course-all that could possibly make it a workable project. I wish I knew how to delete my keyboard's leaning toward filling in a ' when I type 'it's' when I'm trying to type 'its' & when I do think of checking that I got what I meant, my only way of having it read MY WAY, is to type itsss & then deleting some of the sss! While 'pleading my case' I also feel it is important to say, after watching just part of 1 video & checking out projects (starting with the very last, where teacher examples are typically shown), I've seen some of the 'fixed' items in this class, I have yet to see one where the fixes were apparent! That speaks well of this class. Within the same limited time spent in this class, I've not seen so many 'off topic' questions ever" !! Apparently, there's a strong need for classes in beginner's knit/crochet, (separate class for each), as well as conversion knit-crochet (in both directions)! I also feel the need to congratulate Ms Harmon, our teacher for this class, for supreme control over any & all hints of frustration while those questions continue to be 'nearly totally off-topic'! While I found it made me very uncomfortable, I had no way I've thought of to use my discomfort for improvement . If I had been in position to think of a class, 'sold that class', written the actual class, garnered class materials, planned videos & executed videos, (along with recognition of many categories I've not considered), only to then have students ask exclusively 'off topic' questions, I would have challenged my shielded upset emotions but those of Ms Harmon have been under control every minute! 'to the class'!! I'm very impressed by that but hope the tide of 'off topic' questions changes soon to OFF. I recognize more than all others that my time spent on this class is VERY small but still, I find it VERY frustrating that not once did I read a question about actually fixing an error-the class topic! With recognition that I have an off topic obsession of my own but it is my first(!) & only one & with hope that pattern rules work FOR ME, the owner of that top, (item of clothing), is open to sharing, taking pictures, giving sizing & that all other details get worked smoothly so I either get a pattern, its dimensions, pictures or all of that which will enable me to own at least one of this item which I hope I still admire after the lengthy time it has been shielded from view by this screen!

Who knew! There's a limit on length, I cut only 2 sentences, short ones, for it to be accepted & agreed, my post IS LONG! But I've not read that posting is limited! I hit that limit so, look it over & make then no longer that what I just posted or you'll post without your finale
