Instructions

To create the lighter and darker shading effect, the shuttle packing was tighter for the lighter effect, and less packing for the darker effect. Inbetween each shading, I weaved 4 rows of light blue for delineation. The shawl is approximately 5 3/4 ft. long. Loops & Threads Impeccable Black yarn as my warp yarn. Moda-Dea Eden-Serpent & Pale Blue Loops & Threads Impeccable as my weft yarns.

What was your inspiration?

Someone gave me 20 balls of Moda Dea Eden, and I was wondering what to do with this strange yarn. The shawl came out of that blessing.

What are you most proud of?

This was my 3rd weaving project. as a rank beginner.
