What was your inspiration?
I did the sample knit for this shawl and enjoyed it very much. Have fallen in love with Knit Picks Imagination and the Ruby Slippers colorway just seemed like a perfect fit for this pattern as the color variations were quite subtle and added nice depth. This Alpaca blend is so soft and light yet toasty warm.
What are you most proud of?
I didn't drop a stitch this time!!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I would suggest picking a yarn that has a subtle enough color change that the lace pattern is not obscured.
