What materials did you use? Polyethylene tarps/ potting felt.

What are you most proud of? These are functional, very inexpensive large pots that are perfect for the balcony or patio. I could even see using these as a replacement for a raised bed if I had a larger garden.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you are an inexperienced sewist, go with potting felt rather than tarps - the tarps are a little trickier to manage.

Great job...Where did you find potting felt?

it's the same thing as using the black weed fabric - the stuff you would lay down in a flower bed to keep weeds from popping up through the bed.

Good job! These type of pots let the plant roots "breathe" which builds stronger roots and much better plants.
