What materials did you use? The fabric was lycra/poly/spandex. This was re- made from a full length tank dress so I'm not sure exactly of fabric content.

What are you most proud of? That I was able to use some features of my sewing machine that I had never tried such as the walking foot and twin needle. As this item was re-made from a tank dress I ended up with a seam down the front so I made a ruffle to place down the front to hide the seam. As I was reusing the fabric I didn't have to worry about messing up on my first knit project and it turned out quite well and wearable!!!!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Use fabric with less spandex, this fabric moved around a lot while sewing. Test stitches on fabric scraps before stitching on garment, I tried a few different stitches before finding the correct one, which for this fabric was the 3 step zig zag. Now I am ready to use my better fabric!!!!
