What was your inspiration?
I am inspired by Carol Ann Waugh and all the cool things I learned in her Stupendous Stitching online Craftsy class. Thanks again Carol--you're a great instructor.
Carol--did you know--once my sewing was blah, and the next day after your Stupendous Stitching class--my mind was on fire with ideas, and a desire to create works of art with stitching. Since then, every day is more exciting than ever.
What are you most proud of?
On this taffeta project I gave myself permission to go with the flow using free motion quilting. Meandering is fun, but experimenting with shapes and negatives space makes me joyful.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Get some terrific ideas for creative stitching by taking Carol Ann Waugh's Stupendous Stitching online Craftsy class.
