What was your inspiration?

The mess at my serger was my inspiration. I kept having to move it and ended up tracking it everywhere, so I made this mat and bag to keep things neat and tidy.

What are you most proud of?

I am most proud that I was able to create my own pattern that I love love love ♥

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't be afraid. Just take your time and read each step before you continue on to the next step. When I start a new pattern, I have been known to read through the pattern several times to get everything straight in my head before starting a project. And when I am actually sewing/serging up the pattern, I will then read each step again, get it straight in my head, and then do what I need to do before going on to the next step. Sewing/serging should be fun, so if it starts to stress you out, just step away for a moment or two and take a few deep breaths before you go back to it. Sometimes people are in such a rush that they make more stress for themselves than is actually necessary, so take it slowly and you will do amazing things :-)
