What materials did you use? The pillow is made with cotton fabrics and is stuffed with fiber fill. I also used a zipper on the back.

What are you most proud of? The pillow top is made using a conventional sewing machine. But when it came to assembling the project, I used the serger to put a pretty rolled hem on the edge of the ruffle. I used a cording foot on the serger to make piping and sew it onto the pillow top. the differential feed feature of the serger and the ruffling foot to make the ruffle and attach it to the pillow top all in one step. I used the cording foot on the serger to insert a zipper into the back of the pillow! A serger can be used to do so much more than just finishing the edges of seams!

Difficulty level would be more so for a beginner I believe but this is gorgeous

Thank you for your wonderful compliment! Straightforward piecing would be at a beginner level, but the convex/concave curves of the flower are a bit more challenging. Assembling the pillow with the serger also requires some techniques and special attachments that take this project a bit beyond the beginner level.
