You will use your serger for all assembly, and you will need your sewing machine for the final finishing. Be precise with your cutting and assembling your layers as you sew them together. An assortment of fashion fabric's from my stash, flannel for lining, beaded fringe, and one horsey button, and I bought handle.
What was your inspiration?
I had done this bag one other time about 2 years ago when I got my first serger. I will admit, the first didn't come out that well. So.......I decided that I would not let it beat me, I was ready to try again.
What are you most proud of?
How well the overall bag come out, clean and tidy and well put together !! (this time)
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
TAKE YOUR TIME!! Measure & cut precisely, use your iron, double check before you serge & sew, it makes ALL the difference !! Relax & enjoy, you will have SEW much fun !!!!
