What was your inspiration?

When I saw the yarn I hardly noticed the sequins, they don't really show up in the skein. I liked the yarn and thought it would work well with my favorite pattern. The sequins really popped out once I knit with it, but the effect is just right, not over done.

What are you most proud of?

I saw almost the same one's at Macy's last week in silver and gold for $49 and mine is just as good and pretty and it is hand knit and was a lot cheaper.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This is an easy pattern with only 2 special stitches, and you need to be able to knit with circular needles or double point needles.
This is my favorite hat pattern. It knits up in just a few hours and is so versatile.
It wears like a beanie, but you can pull it to the side and have a small beret.
You can wear the hat back on your head or down on your fore head, it is so versatile and looks great.
It is small too, just stash it in your coat pocket or inside out in your purse.
