Your fabrics really do work together well. I did a very similar block on my BOM quilt and called it "Beach Balls" because that's what it reminded me of. I didn't know about the Polka Dot name for it!

I love the design. I am looking for a design to use blacks and golds sports oriented so the circles would be baskeltballs. This could work. Very nice quick!
