What was your inspiration?

Amy taught this method of using the templates for curved piecing very well.

What are you most proud of?

Glad I got the hang of pinning and sewing around the curves!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I made my own templates from thick chipboard and they worked very well. I didn't want to spend $20 on the templates before I knew if I'd like sewing curves or not. I used a very small rotary cutter and that helped. The curves are a little time consuming - lots of pinning!

I only made a template for the L shape as I already had the quarter circles. I was able to get more bang for the buck using the template rather than making 2.5 inch squares and cutting them out - thus saving fabric.
