Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Craftsy Block of the Month 2012 »

Instructions

The Sept blocks were a bit of a challenge. I have never done curved piecing. It was fun making. I did purchase the templates to make it easier but learning to cut curved pieces is a challenge. Making this was fun and you can take it on the go and work on pinning the curved pieces together. Once you started sewing and seeing it come together it was like "ok I get it". Pretty fun to do!

Nice. I love your colors and especially like that you used just two different alternating colors for your chains. Less cluttered looking that way. I'm waiting for my templates to come in the mail and a little worried about sewing the curves.
