Yarn 2(2, 3) skeins Elsebeth Lavold Hempathy [34% hemp, 41% cotton, 25% modal; 50g; 153 yards/140 meters; DK weight], Color #022 Mahogany Needles US size 2(2.75mm) 16 inch circular and dpns, or preferred needles for working in the rnd.

What was your inspiration?

The boyfriend + his love for hats + Spring/Summer + the yarn = this hat

What are you most proud of?

That it's a simple hat, but it still has some small detail and personality. The brim is doubled for extra padding around the forehead. There's a simple slip stitch design directly above the brim. Simple. Sweet. Anyone can wear it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't think about how much stockinette there is... 'round and 'round...
