Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this piece. Drew with graphite on Arches watercolor paper after practicing on smooth drawing paper and than added the pastels

What are you most proud of? I felt doing a self portrait was a hurdle I needed to get over as an artist. I think this is just the first one and that I will practice more of this method:-)!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? To use the techniques that Gary provided. I particularly liked the rule of 3rd's. That was very helpful.
