What was your inspiration?
Leggings are everywhere, and I love them, but I have quite a flat behind and larger thighs and always find them too loose in the rear, so I wanted to make my own. Plus when I spotted this snake skin stretchy remnant I knew the search was over !
What are you most proud of?
The fit is excellent thanks to the fabulous custom made pattern directions. Perfect at my first try.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Do read through the blog post and sign up for the pattern making tutorial and the how to sew instructions. These can be adapted for any person from toddlers to teens to adults once you know how to do it. And don't stop at leggings - how about knee length, below the knee yoga pants, cycling length shorts.......
