What materials did you use? Swedish tracing paper to make the pattern. Denim cut from old pairs of jeans, some floral cotton and medium weight woven fusible interfacing.

What are you most proud of? The fit is very good and I like the effect that the different colours of denim create.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I made the pattern using the instructions from Deborah in the Design & Sew an A-line skirt class. The inset pockets that I added aren't included in the class though. I blogged about this project here: http://wp.me/p3RIIN-dL

Thank you! The pockets look best when you're standing. I've found they gape a bit when I sit down.
