What are you most proud of? Miter corners come out nicely.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? This project is easy if you carefully mark the centers and corners and stitch accurately. I used the serpetine stitch to sew the opening closed and stitch around the border. I also sewed the middle of the blanket so the two layers wouldn't separate when laundered.

Loving your mitered corners... I have just done some myself on the border of a disappearing 9 patch quilt top:)

Thanks, Desna. I originally learned how to do those miter corners when I made scalloped borders on other quilts. This was a self-binding blanket and only required two pieces of fabric.
