What was your inspiration?
This is one of the deslgns I developed in 1989 for a service project in which members of my guild, the Half-Fast Knitters of New Orleans, participated.
What are you most proud of?
Seemingly Seamless 2-Needle Preemie Hat is simply knit flat back and forth on 2 needles. What is clever is a technique that hides the seam in plain view.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Although Seemingly Seamless 2-Needle Preemie Hat is sized for premature babies, you can easily upsize it for larger newborns and older babies by adding pattern repeats or making with thicker yarn on larger size needles.
